About EasyBILAG Digital

EasyBILAG Digital is a clinician-focused digital implementation of the BILAG-2004 index, designed to preserve the integrity and scoring logic of the original instrument while improving usability, speed and structured data capture in routine practice and research settings.

The platform supports domain-level navigation, automated scoring, and exportable summaries aligned with BILAG methodology. It is intended to facilitate consistent disease activity assessment in clinic, audit and academic use.

EasyBILAG-Digital was developed by Dr Jack Arnold with Dr Lucy Marie Carter and Professor Edward Vital, and is licensed by the University of Leeds.

Paper copies of Easy-BILAG can be used freely for education and are available under licence for industry via the University of Leeds licensing portal: .

In addition to the standard web and mobile versions, enhanced enterprise and industry builds are available. These include structured data export and integration options (e.g. SQLite databases, REDCap, and other trial database or eCRF integrations), configurable deployment environments, and support for research and clinical trial workflows.
